Study: One-Third of Americans Ignore Credit Reports

A study commissioned by Google Consumer Surveys and conducted by TransUnion revealed that one-third of respondents have never checked their credit scores or reports, according to a TransUnion press release from October 29.

Twenty-four percent of participants indicated that they had not checked their scores or reports in the past 12 months.

The survey involved 937 Americans and was conducted in September of this year.
