Verizon Begins Selling Square Card Readers At Physical Stores

Verizon Wireless has announced that they have started to carry Square Card Readers at their Verizon Wireless outlets. The readers will sell for $9.97 and come with a $10 Square credit.

    “For small business owners, wireless technology can provide a simple solution to allow businesses of any size to expand payment options for customers,” Verizon said in a statement. “Using a mobile payment tool such as Square, businesses from boutique shops, to plumbers, to professional services, to salon professionals and independent contractors can accept credit or debit card payments using their smartphone or tablet.”

    Square readers are also available at Starbucks, AT&T, Walgreens, Staples, FedEx Office, Apple, Walmart, Best Buy, RadioShack and Target, according to TechCrunch
