Virtual Currency Co-Founder Admits To Money Laundering

One of the founders of Liberty Reserve, a virtual currency services provider based in Costa Rica, has pleaded guilty to charges of money laundering, according to a November 1 report by Finextra.

Vladimir Kats entered his guilty plea in Manhattan Federal Court. Other charges included conspiracy and unlawful operation of a money transaction business.
