Western Union Launches mPayment Service in Nigeria

Western Union has partnered with Nigerian payment operator Virtual Terminal Network (VTN) to introduce a transfer service that will enable Nigerian subscribers to direct Western Union funds in their electronic VTN VCASH accounts using a mobile phone, reported The Paypers.

Subscribers will be allowed to transfer up to $300 USD of one Western Union remittance collected, and a total of $800 USD of combined daily remittances. Customers can use their VCASH accounts to pay bills, make deposits, transfer money into other VCASH accounts and other convenient transactions.
