Global Trade Entity Nets Coveted Trade Finance Certification

For the 16th consecutive year, the US global trade solutions firm Surecomp received the “SWIFT Certified Application – Trade Finance” label. The reason for the award this year is for Surecomp’s back-office trade financial solution, IMEX, reported The Paypers. IMEX gives real-time processing and decision support for global, regional and local banks.

    IMEX supports issued and received letters of credit (L/Cs), standbys, clean and documentary collections, clean payments, guarantees, reimbursements, syndications and participations, the news source reported.

    “Receiving SWIFT accreditation for IMEX for 16 straight years is an accomplishment that points to the world-class caliber and on going commitment of Surecomp’s trade finance and IT professionals,” Joel Koschitzky, Surecomp chairman, said in a statement.

    Koschitzky added that the back-office solution has been adopted worldwide by major banks, and helps financial institutions with high volumes of trade finance activity to improve throughput, productivity and profitability.

    Surecomp customers are banks and corporations, whose products and services portfolio includes trade finance, supply chain finance and treasury confirmation matching solutions.
