NCR, which on Jan. 8 unveiled NCR Cloud Connect, a cloud-based ecosystem of digital services for retailers, is looking to address merchants’ desire for new and innovative technology services to better engage consumers.
NCR’s consumer-facing touchpoints can be linked to NCR Cloud Connect, the company noted in a press release.
This will allow technology companies to seamlessly introduce services such as mobile payments, digital coupons, big data analytics and augmented reality shopping, simply by joining the NCR Cloud Connect ecosystem, the company said.
