New Apple Pay Release Date?

While there hasn’t been a confirmed date for the official launch of Apple Pay, USAA, at least, confirmed a release date, as reported by DailyDot.

    Vikram Parekh, assistant vice president at USAA Bank announced that on Nov. 7th, USAA MasterCard and USAA Visa card would offer Apple Pay.

    During the Apple event this past September, Apple said it would initially support cards from:

    • American Express
    • MasterCard
    • and Visa

    Apple will support these cards through a number of issuing banks in the US including:

    • Citi
    • Bank of America
    • Capital One
    • Wells Fargo
    • Chase
    • American Express
    • PNC
    • Navy Federal Credit Union
    • Barclays
    • USBank
    • and USAA

    At this time it is still very unclear whether November 7th is the official launch date for Apple Pay and the rest of the participating bank partners or whether certain banks will choose to support the new service at different times.
