According to a Billing & OSS World article, the agreement allows the unnamed client to benefit from all of the new features and functions CSG Interconnect has to offer. This includes increased automation, immediate access to business and financial information, and support for more complex rate plans.

“By upgrading to the latest version of CSG Interconnect, the client will enjoy greater pricing flexibility, more nimble partner agreements, more efficient auditing, better reporting capabilities, and a lower total cost of ownership,” said Ken Kennedy, chief technology officer at CSG, reported the news source.

CSG executives explained that its Interconnect solution maximizes provider profitability by handling all aspects of the partner value chain, such as rating, billing, settlement, discounts, and bilateral and refile agreements.

Canada’s southern neighbor also received some good wholesale news recently. Earlier this month, the U.S. Census Bureau’s Monthly Wholesale Trade Survey showed that merchant wholesaler sales in May totaled $453.2 billion, up 0.7 percent from the previous month and by 6.6 percent from a year earlier.
