ZNAP on March 17 will debut its Near Field Communication (NFC) payment technology at the New York Sound City conference and music festival, the company announced.
“The tap-and-pay feature that ZNAPwill showcase at New York Sound City eliminates the need for event attendees to carry cash or plastic. It speeds up and simplifies the purchase process, allowing guests to ‘go walletless’ and focus their attention on performances and activities without missing a beat,” Greg Gresh, CEO of ZNAP North America, said in the announcement.
The technology, which will be in attendees’ wristbands, will enable them to securely make electronic purchases and track loyalty points without leaving the conference.
In February, the developer of ZNAP, MPayMe, expanded its U.S. executive team.
