Amazon Alexa, known simply as Alexa, is a virtual assistant developed by Amazon, first used in the Amazon Echo and the Amazon Echo Dot smart speakers developed by Amazon Lab126. Alexa is a cloud-based voice service that allows users to add products to a wish list, re-order items, check order status, and more - using just their voice.
