    General Manager, Emerging Retail Services – PayPal North America

    Patrick Gauthier is the General Manager of PayPal’s Emerging Retail Services group where he has been managing prepaid, digital gift and demand generation businesses.. His mission is to develop new ways to engage consumers for PayPal and partner merchants, using the PayPal reach.

    Patrick is a payments and commerce innovation specialist, with 20 years of experience managing products, sales, innovation and strategy with startups, Visa Inc. and Schlumberger Electronic Transactions. He has also held positions on the board of directors of a number of e-commerce and m-commerce companies, and is currently an advisor to Tyfone, Sequent Software and SecureKey.

    Patrick holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Telecom Sud-Paris in France and is an Advisor to the French Ministry of Trade.
