    Across a bevy of responses, the core message is the same: most say the war has barely just begun, much less been decided. One participant notes that we may not even have identified the right players.

    “So the NFC Championship game is to be played between Google and ISIS? I don’t think so,” says John Frank, a former payments entrepreneur. “Fundamentally speaking, NFC is more than payments just as football is more than touchdowns.”
