Kiip, a payments startup working to develop a rewards platform for mobile users, has signed a deal with the UK’s Yo! Sushi restaurant chain to deliver coupons to its users.

    Kiip works by letting developers offer rewards from directly within their applications. For example, the developer of a game for iOS could use Kiip to link players to Amazon rewards, generating revenue for both Amazon and the developer.

    The company also has its own digital wallet, called “Kiipsake,” that lets users store the rewards they earn through apps powered by Kiip, and redeem them through a dedicated app, rather than through email and a web browser.
