Founded in 2008, Downstream Casino is one of four properties owned by Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma. The casino strives to offer people a state-of-the-art experience that complements the convenience users have with mobile and cashless gaming.

Christian McDaniel, director of marketing at Downstream Casino Resort, said the partnership with Global Payments and their VIP Mobility product will help Downstream “be ahead of the curve” when it comes to tapping technology to deliver “new heights of convenience” to its guests.

“VIP Mobility allows our patrons to not worry about leaving their seat, wait in line for cash, or wonder about their check cashing limit. VIP Mobility has been well received by the patrons. Downstream is looking forward to the future with VIP Mobility and the impacts that it will have on the operation,” McDaniel said.

The partnership also gives Downstream Casino the chance to offer patrons a more cost-effective and secure payment solution. With VIP Mobility, Downstream Casino Resort can leverage the tool’s flexibility to offer digital alternatives to traditional forms of wagering, according to the report.

Regular casino patrons that drop over $500 each visit prefer to have alternatives to cash when it comes to payment options, according to the American Gaming Association (AGA) Payments Modernization report.

“The ability of technology to provide services in a digital and intuitive environment has transformed the way all industries view the customer experience, including the gaming sector,” said Christopher Justice, president of Global Payments Gaming Solutions.

“Through the implementation of VIP Mobility, Downstream Casino Resort can establish a true customer-centric approach to gaming and provide patrons with an enhanced experience throughout the entire property,” Justice added.
