A new tool from Duo Security looks to ease this storm of complication by expanding its existing security services. Reports in TechCrunch on Tuesday (Oct. 6) said Duo Security will now give IT administrators the ability to oversee all devices on their network,
The service already lets IT managers set rules for their corporation’s mobile devices and automate the enforcement of those policies. When the tool rolled out earlier this year, it provided the IT department with data and analytics reports so companies could better track the usage of these devices.
Now, Duo Security will allow IT administrators a way to quickly view the entire ecosystem of enterprise mobile devices and pinpoint devices that could be vulnerable to security shortfalls. The information will be organized into a single display on the Duo Platform Admin Panel.
The upgraded services include notifications of devices running outdated software or systems vulnerable to a cyber attack.

According to Duo, up to 80 percent of Windows devices and 60 percent of Apple devices are operating on outdated software, figures that highlight the need for IT admin to be on top of the need for security and software updates to protect sensitive corporate data.
