ECommerce sales were up 15.8 percent in the second quarter of this year, according to the U.S. Commerce Department.

And, according to those figures, eCommerce accounted for 10.9 percent of all retail sales in that quarter.

Online retail sales alone reached $91.24 billion.

These stats are the largest year-over-year increase since 2014, when eCommerce sales grew 16.2 percent.

Total retail sales (excluding food service) reached just a 2.1 percent increase over the same period.
