Wim Westerman is a fellow of the University of Groningen’s Center for International Banking, Insurance and Finance. Wim specializes in treasury management, capital budgeting, and management control in the Netherlands, the rest of Europe, and South Africa. He writes regularly about issues in scientific and professional journals and is involved with policy-oriented research (energy, health care, corporate valuation). Wim has been an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Groningen.

    Joris Barbas is a Business Analyst with Deloitte Capital Markets where he advises firms on strategic SEPA implementations. He has worked on a survey of the awareness and readiness of SEPA among European companies. In the same period he wrote his master thesis about the strategic implementation of SEPA. Joris holds a MScBA from the University of Groningen with a specialisation in Organisational and Management Control. An article based on the results of his master thesis is pulished in the Journal of Corporate Treasury Management.
