Cara Chotiner, Strategic Product Marketing Manager for SunTrust, spoke with PYMNTS.com on behalf of NACHA about how the organization plans to expand the knowledge and usage of ACH payments in day-to-day transactions. Chotiner shed light on NACHA’s short and long-term strategies for getting consumers on board.

    Cara Chotiner is responsible for driving marketing strategy development and execution for wholesale product lines at SunTrust, including treasury and payments, merchant services, commercial card, capital markets, foreign exchange, global trade, leasing and asset based lending. She works in partnership with the business units to develop strategies for client acquisition, growth and retention within small businesses to large corporate segments.

    Cara’s previous experience includes marketing and communication positions for two business-to-business technology services firms. She also spent two years in programming and promotions for an Atlanta news/talk radio station, where she produced the morning talk show direct from the Global Olympic Village during the 1996 games.

    Cara holds a Public Policy Studies degree from Duke University and has been an active member of NACHA’s Communications and Marketing Advisory Group.
