Square’s Card Case system allows users to pay for goods and services at their favorite locations without swiping, tapping, or writing. Instead, the Card Case smartphone app uses geo-fencing to automatically “wake up” when a consumer enters an in-network venue. Once the merchant identifies the customer by name, payment can be processed through Card Case’s merchant interface. More information, including a demo video, is available at Card Case’s website.
