Credit, Debit Fraud in Ireland Up 24% in 2011

Credit and debit card fraud increased by 24 percent from 2010 to 2011, according to The Paypers, citing research from online media outlet rte.ie.

    Ninety percent of the fraud tracked in the survey occurred without a card present, with card skimming accounting for just eight percent of fraudulent transactions, The Paypers says.
