A report from the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) argues that central banks need to improve their data collection practices, so as to maintain a firm handle on innovations in retail payments, according to Finextra.
Headquartered in Switzerland, the goals of the BIS are to “serve central banks in their pursuit of monetary and financial stability, to foster international cooperation in those areas and to act as a bank for central banks.”
