Kuapay, a mobile wallet startup with just 40 merchant partners to date, raised $4 million from one private investor to support the further development of its platform, TechCrunch says.
Already available on iOS, Android and Blackberry devices, Kuapay was founded by Joaquin Ayuso de Paul, who got his start as a co-founder at Tuenti, a Spanish social network that sold to Telefonica for $100 million.
