NatWest to Test NFC By Sending iPhone Users Special Phone Cases

RBS subsidiary NatWest plans to distribute special iPhone cases to a select group of customers as part of TouchPay, its NFC-powered mobile payments trial, The Paypers says.

    Customers will be sent the iCarte iPhone case, which includes an NFC chip, and works concurrently with a downloadable mobile app. Users can also choose to require passcode entry at the time of each transaction.
