UK Web Users Fear eCommerce

A survey conducted by the European Commission reveals that UK users are frightened by services such as eCommerce and Internet banking. This could be attributed to the fact that UK web users are more directly affected by cybercrime.

    The study also showed a clear link between being well informed and trusting online resources: 59 percent of EU respondents admitted they did not feel well informed about the risks associated with cybercrime, and 38 percent said they were fairly well informed.
