FreeMonee Network Raises $34M To Develop Digital Coupon Platform

FreeMonee Network, a payments startup based in California, raised $34 million to support the development of a digital coupon network, All Things D says. Combined with an $11 million Series A round raised in 2010, the company has received $45 million in backing to date.

FreeMonee is one of many companies developing a card-linked discount platform for consumers. Former executives from Google, Visa, Oracle, Cisco, Procter & Gamble and Coca- Cola are on its leadership team.
