    And where will people be using their devices? From the couch of course. Ninety-six percent of those surveyed said they shop from the sofa when using their tablets, followed closely by the 94 percent who indicate they browse in the bedroom too.

    Perhaps most interesting for those with an interest in payments are the numbers detailing how tablets are revolutionizing eCommerce. Tablet traffic increased a whopping 348 percent between the first quarters of 2011 and 2012. PC use subsequently decreased from 94 percent of all website traffic to 88 percent over the same time.
