PYMNTS.com spoke to Shane Happach, Chief Commercial Officer, e-Commerce to learn a bit more about the company. Shane has been in the payments industry for almost eight years and recently joined WorldPay in London. WorldPay is a leading provider of electronic payment processing solutions operating in over 40 countries.     When it comes to innovation, WorldPay have invested in non-card payments by acquiring Envoy Service in 2011 a leading provider of alternative payment solutions to eCommerce merchants worldwide. They follow both the market and their clients’ demands to try and stay as innovative as possible. Shane called World Pay “transaction agnostics”, adding that they do not favor any payment type and that they try to target the retailers’ needs for their specific product.

    Shane joined WorldPay in December as Chief Commercial Officer with overall responsibility for Global Business Development, Account Management, Product Development and Marketing. Shane has over 12 years of experience in financial services in payments, treasury, M&A and foreign exchange. He has held diverse sales and management roles on 3 continents. Prior to joining WorldPay his most recent assignment was to launch and develop the LatAm market from a hub in Argentina for GlobalCollect. He has a degree in Finance from Miami University and an MBA in International Business from the International University of Geneva.
