French Consumers Ready To Give Up Physical Loyalty Cards

According to SNCD’s “Mobile Marketing Attitude” Survey, 80% of French smartphone and tablet users would like mobile applications to access their loyalty schemes and even more would like to be able to store their loyalty cards on their mobile devices, to replace physical cards.

    The study also revealed that mobile users prefer to access a retailer’s online shop via an application rather than a mobile site, as most mobile sites are not adapted to their smartphone or tablet. Users like to have a smooth mobile experience, with an easy transition between price-comparison, offer redemption and checkout.

    Furthermore, the study uncovered that 45% of respondents would like to see a dematerialization of tickets in general. Almost half would like to be able to store all transport and events tickets on their mobile device.
