Austria Prepares For NFC With Verifone

Paylife, tha bank-backed Austrian market leader in cashless transactions has struck a partnership with VeriFone. The partnership will see the upgrade of tens of thousands of payment devices with the new VeriFone VX 680 wireless solution and VX 825 PIN acceptance system. Within the current year, PayLife will also utilize several thousand VeriFone QX 1000 devices to provide immediate NFC/contactless functionality.
