Banking Charges Go Up In France

French newspaper Les Echos has carried out an investigation that revealed that there have been increases in the value of banking charges in eight French banks from 2012 to 2013. The increased charges apply mainly to payment cards, where charges rose between 2 and 2.7%. On site bank transfers also suffered an increase with Societe Generale raising the prices by 6.25%.
