BitPay Successful In New Round Of Funding
BitPay has announced a new round of funding from a group of angel investors, including Trace Mayer, Ben Davenport, and A-Grade Investments, a venture capital firm. Businesses in the bitcoin community have seen an increase in investment in the past few months, probably boosted by popular brands like WordPress and Reddit adopting the virtual currency. “As bitcoin continues to grow in popularity – just read the recent WordPress or MEGA news – more merchants will want to accept them, and BitPay offers the most versatile platform for any company to add bitcoins to their choice of payment options,” says Anthony Gallippi, co-founder and CEO of BitPay.
