Report: Next Groupon CEO To Come From Outside Company

Groupon is planning on hiring their next CEO from outside the company, according to a report by Bloomberg.

    The report states that Eric Lefkofsky and Ted Leonsis, the two board members leading the search for the next CEO and currently running the company, have been ruled out as Groupon’s long-term CEO.

    After months of speculation, former CEO Andrew Mason was fired from his position last week.
