Ride sharing app SideCar is suing the Austin, Texas Department of Transportation in order to legalize the service in the city, reports TechCrunch. SideCar’s argument in the lawsuit centers around its lack of owned or operated vehicles and its claim that it is a technology, not a transportation, company.
