South West Trains Provide Vouchers Through NFC Platform

Tap4Offers, a new platform that provides customers with vouchers and special deals, has been introduced by media company KBH and installed into 360 UK train carriages, reports NFO World. KBH has plans to extend this new service to 6,000 carriages across 11 rail services in the UK before the end of 2013. Tap4offers will use NFC and QR codes at touch points to provide the offers. Users can also send an SMS text on their mobile phones to receive a link to the website, where they can also retrieve the vouchers.
