UK’s Fiver Gets A New Face
The UK is replacing Elizabeth Fry’s 19th century portrait on the £5 with an image of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill, reports CNN Money. The note will be in honor of Churchill’s globally recognized achievements, as he started off as a journalist, served as solider and finally became head of government as the prime minister during World War II. UK’s smallest note is due to make its transformation in the beginning of 2016.
