Pay For Budapest Taxi Rides With mPayments
One of Budapest’s largest taxi companies recently began accepting mobile payments through Cellum’s QR code technology, reports Mobile Payments Today. Customers can make simple payments by scanning the cab driver’s unique QR code and entering the fare amount into the mobile application. After the transaction is made, the driver will then receive payment verification via POS terminal or SMS message. The application was rolled out to Hungary customers as “MasterCard Mobile” and created by Cellum.
