Online Shoppers Double Monthly Spending In UK

New research revealed that online shoppers in Britain are spending double what they did 10 years ago, reports This Is Money. This online shopping report supports other recent research that predicted a fifth of British stores would close on high streets by 2018 due to more consumers shopping online.

    The survey reported that the monthly average amount spent on eCommerce shopping has increased from £56 to £113 in the last 10 years. A third of British consumers are doing most of their shopping on the Internet, taking sales away from the high street stores.
