Seamless Brings QR Code Scanning To Kuwait

Kuwait International Bank and McDonald’s have announced the imminent launch of a mobile payments pilot using Swedish-based Seamless’ technology, reported Finextra. Kuwaiti customers will be required to download a mobile app to use the SEQR system. They will then be prompted to scan a code at the payment terminal before they enter a PIN number to approve the payment. After the transaction is complete, customers will receive a receipt on their mobile phone.
