Twitter is planning to launch geo-targeting ads for retailers by years’ end, according to AdAge.
The ads will come in the form of promoted tweets sent to people within proximity of certain stores, such as Walgreens of QSRs like McDonalds. Twitter currently allows only for ads to be targeted to specific metro areas.
