Online Transactions In China Top $134T In 2012

A new report from the Payment & Clearing Association of China (PCAC) has found that payment service providers processed $134 trillion worth of online transactions in 2012, according to The Paypers.

    Offline, researchers revealed that banks processed 19.2 billion online transactions – accounting for $133.4 trillion in payments. The report also examined how online transactions are being used. This included analysis of sectors such as community services, education and tourism.
