Western Union Launches Global Tuition Payments Service

Colorado-based global payment service provider Western Union announced new partnerships with South Korea-based Hana Bank and China-based ChinaPay and CITIC Bank on July 16, a press release revealed. With the partnership, international students will be able to pay tuition and education fees for higher education in their native currencies.

    The move is an attempt by Western Union to appeal to the 35 percent of international students who come to the United States for college from China and South Korea.
