Square has updated its iOS app with new features allowing for check and gift card tracking, according to The Next Web. Through this update, Square lets users track and record “all kinds of payments” via the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
Square’s iOS app for iPads also gained the ability to “access cash management,” which lets users reconcile their cash drawers, as well as connect to Bluetooth printers to print receipts. The Next Web notes that these features are likely aimed at improving Square’s Register program.
