Google Play Revenue Grows By 67 Percent

Netherlands-based app market analyst Distimo has revealed that Google’s Android app marketplace, Google Play, has grown by 67 percent over the past six months, TechCrunch reported on August 12.

    The growth was fueled by the app store’s strong performance in Japan and South Korea. By comparison, Apple’s App Store revenue increased by only 15 percent over the same period.
