Card Payments On Rise In Iceland

A new report from Market Publishers indicates that Iceland’s card payments sector will grow about 1.9 percent by 2017 (reaching 793,275 cards). The report showed that debit cards represent about 57.5 percent of the total market in 2012. Debit cards and credit cards are estimated to increase by 456,983 and 321,082, respectively, by 2017.
