Europeans Spend More Via Tablets Than Smartphones

A new study titled The 2013 Mobile Consumer Survey, reported by Mobile Entertainment, indicated that more European consumers are spending online on tablet devices than they are on smartphones. The survey shows that 80 percent of tablet use occurs at home, which is a large reason why more consumers are shopping on tablets.

    Participants revealed they spend more time on their tablet as the report shows that 26 percent reported they use the device for about one to four hours each day. Seven percent said they spend five hours or more on their tablet.

    When asked about the mobile experience—regarding mobile applications and response sites—60 percent said their experience was just average, and 40 percent said they were either indifferent or unsatisfied.
