Eight men in the UK have been arrested by the police due to a £1.3 million Barclays cyber-theft case, reported Finextra. According to the article, £1.3 million was stolen from a Barclays Bank branch computer system by a gang of men.
UK police reported that one of the criminals pretended to be an IT employee and was able to connect a keyboard video mouse to one of the branch’s computers. The gang then managed to transfer money to various bank accounts.
