First Data Corporation announced today that Marc Overton, a veteran of the mobile telecommunications industry, will join its leadership team for the European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets, according to FinExtra.
John Elkins, First Data’s President of International Regions, said in a statement that Overton will be critical for the company’s plan to grow its market share in emerging economies.

“Marc brings a wealth of experience and successful performance in the mobile and telecommunications industry to First Data.
