U.K. Researchers Probe NFC Security Flaws

A research team from the University of Surrey has determined that data thieves can access personal information by tapping into NFC payments signals, ZDNet reported on November 25.
 
The group used store-bought electronics to assemble a device that can access the signals and steal personal financial information. The authors of the University of Surrey study asserted that the technology used is easily obtainable.
