Clinke Clips Staff After $25M Funding Round

Payment platform developer Clinkle has cut its workforce by 25 percent in the days following the completion of a $25 million funding round, Finextra reported on December 9.

    Sixteen employees were let go, a development that follows 31 other departures, according to Finextra. The company noted in a statement that members of its human resources and operational divisions received layoff notices.

    The group was a mix of part-time workers and contracted laborers, Clinkle said.
