Development of alternative authentication methods to usernames and passwords quickly is becoming a market of its own. Spurred by member alliances creating industry certification programs for biometric and other solutions, vendors quickly are rolling out new products and services. Various newly certified products will be on display at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in early January.
